Wake up to spectacular mountain views in this cozy, two-level condo. The upstairs primary bedroom is complete with a jetted tub and private balcony providing jaw-dropping views. This home is complete with a wood-burning fireplace and a mini bar, and you'll be able to pack light by taking advantage of the in-home washer and dryer.

Be submerged in the serenity of the mountains nestled alongside Cascade Creek, conveniently located near many hiking trails. Purgatory Resort is less than three miles from this home, where you can find activities for all ages, year-round. Aside from skiing and snowboarding during the winter months, Purgatory also features a Nordic center for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, as well as shops, restaurants, and a resort spa. During the Summer you can find biking activities, an alpine slide, a high ropes course, and more!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Location/Worn down rental

The location of the condo was the best part about it. The condo obviously is not maintenance at all. So many things need fixed or replaced and you can tell it’s just not cared for. The master bed was absolutely awful! Faulty wiring, the fan didn’t work, kitchen had very slim choices for cooking and the customer setvice for the company that owns the rental were less than helpful!

Good time

The place is a little dated but very sufficient for a few days on the slopes. The bigger issue was that there were missing kitchen supplies & fire lighter, & a couple lights & the internet were out. Management is offsite, so none of these issues could be fixed until Day 2 of our stay. When they did respond, they took care of everything we asked, & the rest of the stay was great.

We’re repeat customers of Cascade Mountain Resort and loved each trip. We really liked the condo, parking, and proximity to the mountain….great time was had by the entire family.

Very nice condo, just needs a little TLC to be perfect

This is a very nice condo with great views of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen appliances are all new and quite nice. The covered parking below the unit is very nice as well. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed during our visit. Overall, we had a nice time. Our only critique is that the unit needs a little TLC. The shutters in the living room and lower bedroom need some repairs. The upstairs mattress is tired and due for replacement. The sliding door in the dining room is quite difficult to move, and the sliding door near the jetted tub really needs a screen door as well (in the summer anyway). These are all simple fixes and hopefully the management company will address these quickly.

Mountain get-away

We stayed at the condo to have close proximity to Durango. The drive to Durango was easy. The condo had a beautiful view and was stocked with essentials. Lots of hummingbirds all around the complex. There is a long stairwell to reach the unit so is not appropriate for mobility impaired. There is a club house with an arcade (for fee) as well as a free pool and hot tub. There are tennis and pickle ball courts as well with rackets to check out. Fun place to stay.

Nice mountain condo

Beautiful views and amenities at this condo. Very close to Purgatory. The covered parking is nice and convenient. Soaking in the jetted tub with a view of the San Juans is a nice finish to a day of skiing.

Overall, the condo was nice and clean. It was listed as it was stated on the website. The only thing I would recommend is renting a car. You can use the provided shuttle, but it only is offered at certain times, so you would be better off renting a car.

This condo was perfect for our ski vacation. There was plenty of room for our family of six and the wood burning fireplace and huge tub were a hit. Purgatory resort is just minutes away.

Dreamy mountain getaway!

We visited Durango at the beginning of a crazy winter storm, over 3ft of snow was accumulated. The property was plowed and easy to navigate the entire time! Front desk staff was super friendly and the amenities kept everyone entertained when driving around town wasn’t an option. We are already planning our next adventure to CO and stay at Cascade Village.

Property was a bit cheaper - found out why. Things that didn't work: washing machine, hair dryer, ceiling fan (missing blade!), dishwasher (lower rack, missing wheel - was blocking lower spinner - moved wheel - working better but still needs fixed), coffee maker (better after ran vinegar through it 5-10 times). Recessed compact fluorescent bulbs seem old - start out very dim - get better. Should be replaced with LED. Kitchen is equipped but everything is old - knives dull. Sliding glass door was filthy with fingerprints and dog slobber. Weird double bunkbed needs to go. Only one person can get easily out of bed. Seems like someone bought the place and had no money left to invest. Overall, did not enjoy the stay. Pick another place.

Love Area - Condo needs Repair

Love Durango, Cascade and Purgatory. Condo needs repair! Fireplace screen left side fell off. Right side was bent all up. Cleaning crew not too smart to leave charcoal lighter on mantel of fireplace. Windows upstairs in Master would not open. Lights throughout condo VERY DIM. Lacking several items that most rentals provide. Just not welcoming overall. I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to upgrade this condo to normal specs .

Could definitely use some help in advertising, etc

Well, to start, we had to reach out to two different people to find out how to even check in when we got there. We had conflicting unit numbers and there were no instructions on checking in. Once we finally got ahold of someone, they told us that the keypad to unlock the door was upstairs through the unlocked door in the parking garage, not at the entry door like every other unit in the building....this one has a regular key lock at the entry door that is left open and you have to go through that and go upstairs to the main door with the keypad. There are no welcome instructions or anything once you get inside. No WiFi password, instructions on how to use the non working TVs, check out procedures or anything. It is advertised as having 2 working televisions with cable/satellite which we found to be untrue. The night we checked in, we texted the property manager about getting the WiFi password which he quickly sent us. We discovered a few hours later that neither TV worked so we texted him and asked if there was something special in working the TV’s and he said he’d get it figured out in the morning - this was a Thursday night so we expected to hear from someone Friday morning. By lunch Friday, we hadn’t heard from anyone so we texted to do follow-up, no answer. 5:30 or so rolls around and we text again, no answer. Saturday morning we got an email from someone different saying they’d try to get it resolved. Long story short, someone came and brought 2 Roku sticks for us to use on Sunday afternoon. They also told us they would be refunding us part of our payment since the place was falsely advertised- haven’t seen that yet. There were lots of little things that needed upgrading as well. It’s an older condo that could use some TLC. The location is great though and the views are pretty awesome. We didn’t try out the pools or anything so can’t comment on those. Would we stay at this particular condo again? No, but may consider staying in a different one in the Cascade Village.

Beautiful location with great views

Stayed with my family (2 children) for 2 nights. The location was great, easy access with beautiful views, easy check in, plenty of parking. The bunk beds were great for the kids, living space was comfortable. Supplies/accommodations were adequate, but space could use updating and repairs (master bed/mattress, faucets in master, shower leaking in master, no drain plug for lower tub, missing outlet cover in lower bedroom, ceiling fan rattles, TV works but no cable or streaming systems) - all around, a good space for the price point in Durango area if you aren't looking for lots of bells and whistles.

Great Bargain for this area!!

First off The mountian view from the back window is well worth it alone (outside porch so you can sit & view it) Quiet condo on a property just north of Purgatory Ski Resort Didn't even hear people until the morning we left Clean place Comfortable bed (also has a 2nd BR with bunk bed) Kitchen, laundry (washer / dryer on premises) This condo is located as central as you'd want. About 35 min from Durango (which has all the retail & grocery stores you would want) even a Walmart Supercenter 30 minutes from Silverton 45 minutes from Ouray The only nit-picky items: TV /cable didn't work. If you are coming here for the TV then you have bigger issues 😀 The handle /knob on the Master Bedroom bathtub was broken off. Wrapped a Towel around it and good to go The towel rack in the bathtub room was also broken Another rack next to it so no biggie Again. Real nit-picky stuff. Overall: Quiet Friendly, helpful management Priced very reasonable for what you get Many major conveniences kitchen laundry etc (try renting a modestly priced condo where the Master bathtub overlooks the mountains) even has an indoor pool! Great location to everything Recommend it!!
