"Parking and location and access to interstate was great! Front desk Vick was very nice and helpful. We had a room with a sofa bed and there were no pillows he could give me for the sofa bed, so we got an extra blanket and folded it instead. The sofa bed itself was pretty bad and coils were all you could feel, no padding so they should not advertise it as a bed, it needs upgraded. Breakfast was pretty varied and had pastries, eggs,sausage biscuits gravy- standard fare and it was very clean and well stocked. For the value I would definitely recommend them."

"My wife and I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The highlight of our stay was the service of the staff, which was excellent! There was daily room service, which was a welcome surprise! The hotel was close to the major commercial spots of Columbia too. The only issue we had was the initial confusion about the name of the hotel as we saw Motel 06 everywhere. They are in a transitional phase and everything carries the old logo and the name. We were a bit hesitant to use the Check-in kiosk but that was no trouble at all. We will definitely stay at Hotel Blu again!"

"This hotel is one of our staples when we are in town for swim meets on the college campus. It’s close to food and parking is easy. Only 10min to campus. HOWEVER…every time we are there traffic noise and kids running in the hallways unaccompanied always seems to ruin it. They seem to host every soccer, basketball, and volleyball tournament for 500 miles. PLEASE POST QUIET HOURS!!! Some of us need to be up at 6am."
