"We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions."

"It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences."

Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing ."

"We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :)"

"Such a beautiful cottage nestled on an open waterfront property. Very quiet area gave a sense of peace and tranquility while appreciating nature. The large ceiling to floor windows overlooked the view of the lake and property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was large and clean. The weather was seasonably cold however we stayed toasty warm in the evenings with the large firepit area with plenty of seating. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Looking...

"There were nine of us in our family group ranging in age from 4 to 63 years of age. All of us had a fantastic time. Swimming and water play were the highlights. We found the fact that the sun didn’t reach the west facing dock until noon a real plus. Afternoon and evening sun was wonderful. The upstairs area held a family of five easily. Lots of fans (no air conditioning) and beds. The host kindly left special treats for the kids as we had an 8th birthday to celebrate. It was an amazing family...

"We enjoyed our time. The proximity to Sir Sam's Skiing was excellent. There are a lot of stairs in the Chalet, all wood so our legs were tired at the end of it. The ice on the driveway posed a hazard and I had the best wipe out of the week, not on the ski hills but on the driveway. Otherwise, the accommodations proved to be everything we needed and were looking for. Overall I would highly recommend this property."

"Stunning location, beautiful house! Hosts provided lovely details to make the stay more comfortable, like supplying toothbrushes and a couple bottles of wine. The freezer broke while we were there but Rebecca was on top of it and sent out a repair man right away. Only points of improvement: the clothes dryer does not work very well and needs replacement and there were a lot of decorative trinkets which limited kitchen counter space"
