This place seemed to be a perfect fit for what we were looking for. We were in the area to do some ice fishing and needed a simple rental to lay our heads and a shower. The pictures looked great. Dealing with Vacasa was a little bit of a challenge. I asked for an early check-in and was told that the housekeeper would text me when it was ready. The unit wasn’t rented the night before. I never did received that text but we went straight to fishing instead. When we did get to our rental, we went to the unit in the picture of this listing. After a call to Vacasa to say that the code didn’t work, we came to find out that it was the unit next door. So the picture of this listing is incorrectly the unit A. The inside of the unit was very clean and welcoming. Again, we looking for nothing more than a couple beds, bathroom, and a shower. My minuscule complaints would be Vacasa for poor communication and false advertising. The unit’s floors were pitched to the side making it dizzying. Finally, the shower sprayer holder was broken and wouldn’t stay up. Other than that, cute unit, would stay again.

Very nice stay just outside of Eagle River. Dock was perfect and the cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a Northwoods Vacation. Had one issue on check-in: the door code wasn't working correctly so we had to use the back-up key set.

Great lakeside property with deck. Access code did not work upon arrival, but the company responded immediately and provided the correct access code. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make dinner and the beds were comfortable. Was myself and my mother staying and we felt very safe the whole time. The neighbors next door were friendly. Only negatives were a very large pile of dog poo at the back of the yard and a large wolf spider/web in the corner of the deck...but we left it alone and it left us alone lol. Will stay again if back in the area.

Zac Efron entry mirror

Wonderful location, but there were some things that could be improved. For one, the rental service gave us the wrong entry key code, and because it’s a service, it was a multi-step process to get to the person that could actually help us. And property manager not overly concerned that we had the wrong code. Also, wifi was very lacking in service. The cabin was clean, bedding and towels very nice. The cabin itself was awkwardly laid out but very spacious kitchen. The lake access was great with electricity near the pier. Could have some yard games. Shared deck and fire pit worked out great. Fun neighbors. Checkout process simple.Lastly, absolutely found the Zac Efron mural mirror in entry hilarious. Maybe a bit out of place. Would stay again but nightly rate a bit a high for this cabin.

Nice place, great location!

This is a nice location, right on the water with a dock and a great view. It is a smaller cabin that will sleep 4 but no more than that comfortably. The kitchen is a little tight for food prep and storage but overall it was nice.
