Loved the view and location and all the facilities inside. Perhaps the bed could be updated? Septic tank quite smelly. Road noise but overall the view and location made it all worth well.

Not value for money.

Queen bed was very hard, mattress has collapsed. We tried the sofa bed instead. Sofa bed had a lot of debris under the cushions, but we found it unusable, could feel every spring in the mattress. Only 1 lounge was soft enough to sleep on, so we used cushions taken from other sofa and put on the bed for comfort, the other person sleep on the lounge. Not very romantic, for our anniversary. Water pressure terrible, can only use 1 tap at any one time. Couldn't lock balcony door. Heating at night okay if you start before sundown (it takes a long time to heat), otherwise it's a cold night. House heats up very early from the eastern aspect, no cooling facilities or fans. So temperatures inside were from one extreme to the other. The single smoke detector (not compliant with current laws) was beeping every 2 minutes upon arrival, the battery had not been connected. Hubby had to fix. Lighting over cooking area is non-existent and booklet asked to avoid using island bench. Whilst it's a beautiful island bench, that's not practical if it's a rental, and the only place in the kitchen that has illuminated. No where to sit suitcases but on the floor. Overall, the challenges of the property means there is a great lack of comfort to be had. The view over the bay was amazing. This property could be so much better if functionality and comfort was given a greater priority. Because of this we will not be returning customers.
