“Nice way to spend some quality time with family. The snow played spoilsport, but the cabin was well stocked with firewood and the fireplace was the perfect place for family to sit around and enjoy. Kudos to the owner for having thought of every small details in and around the cabin.”

Would have liked an instruction binder accessible rather than pulling up online how to care for the residence and a list of local food delivery/restaurants would have been nice. You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. “The house was really great - plenty of room and a nice and serene. Older house with squeaky and uneven floors but the decor and some modern makeovers made it have great character! Communicating with property manager was very easy and we got prompt responses. The only thing worth mentioning that needs attention is the little bridge to go over to get to the driveway. Luckily we have a higher car but anyone with a regular sedan would have bottomed out and/or possibly got stuck. I’m sure it was……

“Thank you for a great long weekend in Maine. Half of our family enjoyed skiing at Mt. Pleasant for a day when the other half of our family cross country skied at king pine. We were able to snow shoe locally at Pondicherry park in Bridgton too and were able to use your snow shoes that were provided at the house. Thank you! “We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.”

“We booked this location, because we wanted to go to the Fryburg Fair and North Conway Outlets. It was just 20 minutes from Fryburg and 40 minutes from North Conway. In the evenings we sat out on the patio and checked out the foliage at the Pond. There was an extra friendly neighborhood dog that stopped by for a quick visit.”

“Our family had a wonderful stay! The pictures on the listing are very accurate. It is not a huge house but it was very comfortable for our family of four. My wife and I had a bedroom downstairs and our girls shared the upstairs bedroom. They loved having the “entire” upstairs to themselves. The kitchen has all new appliances and was well stocked. There was nothing I wish we should have brought. There was Keurig with plenty of coffee and a s’mores kit which was a great touch. We enjoyed kayaking……

“This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”
