「This site was booked for viewing of the total solar eclipse. And while the weather did not cooperate, the site itself was perfect. The grounds were lovely and private, and the house was clean and comfortable. I think it would be even better if there was a television onsite, but overall it was a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful setting. 「The Lakeview Lodge was just what we needed for a weekend birthday celebration with a large family group. We needed the large number of bedrooms, and having adequate space on both the main level and lower level was important, since we had cool weather and much of our time was spent indoors. The owner was very accommodating and we had no problems checking in or out. Everyone had a great time.」

「We came as a group of family and friends to observe the eclipse. We wanted plenty of space and proximity to other things to do, like hiking and the winery. This fit the bill and was quite affordable too. In addition to enjoying the property, we drove to Letchworth State Park, which’s was only 45 mins away abs very worthwhile. We loved the (steep) hike down to hemlock lake, and the short walk to Oh-Neh-Da Winery too. It was a great home base for our long weekend.」
