The property never felt crowded, the beach was wide and relaxing, and we liked having the flexibility to eat only what we wanted instead of feeling tied to buffet meals all day. “First of all, the hotel WAS NOT called Brisas Tropical playa Los Corales. Instead it was called Tropicana. To make the matters worse, there was no sign to be seen from the street. In fact, the sign one can see from the street says some other hotel name. Also, the google map to the hotel from Expedia kept on sending us to the wrong places in the neighborhood. The phone number on Expedia was also wrong so nobody picked up. It literally took us over two hours to find the place! Secondly, the……

“I am extremely satisfied with my stay at El Navegante Hotel in Bayahibe! Check in process was easy. 24 hours before my expected arrival I sent the host a message through the expedia app and she responded with my room number and lock code to enter the room. I found the code lock to be extremely handy so I didn't have to worry about losing a key or key card while at the beach. This property is an apartment style building right in the neighborhood. I appreciate these types of accommodations because……

“Our flight was canceled last minute and it was beginning to become dark out, being out of the country and now off our resort left us scrambling. We were able to book at this location for one night, 2 people. Nice hotel, hot water, clean beds, bottled water provided! We felt safe behind locked gate during our stay and was given great travel advice in the morning when checking out high recommended!”

“The property is great however the aAC in the rooms is not needs to be set to 20. The hot water runs out, and there is no dishwasher. The property is great and has 2 rooms and a room and a small extra room with a bunk bed. As a recommendation to the owner I would say to leave basic condiments in the kitchen ex: salt pepper and olive oil it would make the experience a lot better.”
