“Friendly staff, clean rooms and quite comfortable. I would have scored it higher if the thermostat on the radiator was working. The room became uncomfortably warm during the night, and I had to open the window because I couldn’t adjust the radiator”

“Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience.”

“The hotel was lovely, and Linda & Des were VERY welcoming and accommodating. They have a little “shop” where you can buy toiletries, wine, drinks, crisps, snacks etc which was very convenient. The breakfasts were AMAAAAZING - lots of options! The only down side was the water was not hot and the water pressure in the shower was low.”

“We had a beach view room which was spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over the beach and cliffs over a distance. We came to the island for my son’s fossil hunting. He’s 9. We listened to the high tides at night, absolutely worth it. Even with the window open, it’s still warm during the day in the winter. Will revisit. ”

“The hotel is beautiful and modern which we liked. It did lack in some big areas and I frankly expected better. The toilet was dirty on arrival and I don’t mean just a little. There were dried urine stains over the seat, the toilet, the base and the floor. Not sure how this could even be missed (which I can only assume means they don’t clean properly). It was resolved straight away but we shouldn’t have had to ask. The staff in the hotel were good. However, not so much at the onsite restaurant……

“On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. ”
