Rustic Lakeside Cabin at White Gate Farm

  • Beautiful private cabin, just 1 foot from Lake Pattagansett, has its own beach and dock. Suitable for 2 adults or couple with kids. King bed is on the second floor, with a fold-out sofa for a double bed downstairs. Through the huge window you can view the lake from both floors. The kitchen includes fridge, sink, stove and oven, and all kitchenware needed for cooking. The picnic bench, grill and fire pit right outside are perfect for family dinners. If you will be here on Saturday, Sunday or Monday you may want to order prepared foods, pastries, produce, eggs, meat and more from our on-line store (https://shop.whitegatefarm.net/) which is open Tuesday 12:01 am to Wednesday midnight. The summer farm stand is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 2.
    Swimming in the lake, fishing, hiking on nearby trails and exploring the farm are some of the activities available for our guests. We also provide a paddleboat, 2 stand up paddle boards and a kayak -- items which are shared with the inn guests (at their separate beach.). The WiFi works well and its Password is suNnytoEs25.

This was a beautiful. lakefront cottage literally steps from the water. It had everything we needed for a weekend away. Centrally located near Mystic and other attractions. Very private and perfect space for dogs and humans. We would definitely stay here again. There is no TV but there is wifi and we just streamed TV shows on our laptops.

My grandchild and I just came back from a three day stay ay White Gates Farm. We had a wonderful experience staying at their "Ice House" a few feet from Lake Pattangansett. There were opportunities to kayak, fish, take hikes, and best of all interact with their farm animals. Everyone there was very kind to us and allow my grandchild to help out with their chickens. She had a terrific time and so did I! I hardily recommend this property.Chris Waller

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at White Gate Farm. The private cabin was perfect for our three-day getaway. The lake view was amazing, and the cabin was clean, appropriately appointed and incredibly comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful. We spent the majority of our time just sitting outside by the lake and at the fire pit. Our dog was so happy to swim and play ball. Will definitely be returning!

Could not have dreamt of a better stay! Pauline’s property is so beautiful and relaxing, and the weekend access to the fabulous White Gate Farmstand makes for a delicious and convenient setup. The cabin was charming, clean, well-equipped, and totally comfortable. The lake access is every bit as convenient as it appears on the listing, and we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Awesome views

We loved the location right on the lake. Watching the sun set and the ducks swimming around. Owner/ innkeeper were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Staycation

We are local to the area and wanted a mini vacation without having to travel far. The cabin was absolutely perfect! The gigantic picture window, the private dock, and quiet farmland surroundings were the highlights of the property. Seeing the fog dance across the lake during sunrise was magical!

A comfortable and peaceful stay

Beautiful cabin with a very cool history. Private and cozy plus the lake is wonderful for a swim and it has a very comfortable bed. It was nice to inplug and just be one with the surroundings. We would definitely come back

Beautiful & Relaxing

A very special place. The lake was lovely, Kevin was awesome, and we enjoyed Fall Fest on Sunday, where we ate pizza, listened to live music, and just enjoyed the great weather on the farm. A perfect place if you're looking for a short escape from all the business of life!

Beautiful lakeside stay

Rustic cabin *right* on the lake. Walk out and be swimming in 5 seconds. Husband, dog, and I had very relaxing stay. Cooked in the cabin, swam in the lake, used paddle board provided. Just lovely. Beautiful location.

A great place for a long weekend

A cozy cabin feel, able to jump in the water right outside the front door. Check-in process was extremely easy, very communicative, check out was super easy. My only suggestion would be that the cabin needs a good vacuum/dusting. Lost of cobwebs, dust bunnies. Overall great, relaxing stay!

Our weekend getaway

Super quiet gorgeous view from the massive window overlooking the lake! We were free to roam around the grounds, being pet friendly was also a huge win as the dog loved running around by the lake and in the field. Kevin made check in and check out super easy. We will be back for sure! The farm stand Saturday morning was also amazing

A great stay in an amazing location

Our family gathered at White Gate for a reunion. It was the perfect choice. We were in both the cabin and the inn. Those in the cabin loved the view, the fishing dock, the water toys and the privacy. It slept 3 and was a treat to relax and play right at the beautiful lake, which was great for fishermen, swimmers, paddle boarders and to just hang out. It is a very special cabin.

Amazing lake getaway

We used this cabin, as well as the other two locations on property during our wedding weekend, and it was the perfect hideaway as the bride and groom to escape to and relax. We had access to kayaks and paddle boards, the lake was beautiful. Our ceremony was held just outside in front of lovely Pattagansett Lake. It is a small, rustic cabin. We hope to return again in the future to celebrate anniversaries. Thanks again!
