“We were two families who stayed at the serene modern lakehouse when we traveled to NS to attend a family funeral. We had great communication with the host. The house is very large and served us well for our large group; lots of different spaces to spread out. It has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with one bedroom being on the main floor with direct access to a full bathroom. A large master suite upstairs has full ensuite and walk in closet. The beds & pillows and location of rooms overlooking the ocean with peaceful wave sounds at night provided the best sleep we have had in a long time. “We had a great stay. The host was super responsive. The house was easy to find, easy to check-in, and super clean! Perfect for our family (3 adults, 4 kids). We loved the two separate living room spaces, one near the kitchen and one on the lower level. The views from nearly every room of the house were of the lake! The house was comfortable, safe, and nicely set up. Plenty of towels, dishes and seating for a big family. The lake was beautiful. Saw otters and loons. Plenty of chairs to sit near……

“The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. ”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. The serene and quiet location along with being pet friendly are ideal. The location being so close to a gas/convenience store, private beach, boat launch is great. We enjoyed the fire pit area each night but unfortunately it was too warm to use the hot tub so we will try it the next time we stay. The little touches like charging pads, televisions and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Dimmable lights, quality appliances make this a great rental choice.The screened……
