「Tidy cottage. Showing age and has partial do ups. Curtains needed more hooks as barely hanging. Cutlery draw needs cleaning and improved. No TV but excellent wifi. Shower has excellent water flow but no hair shampoo.

「This cottage with view porch is pre-fab housing, efficiently constructed to use solar power and filtered and UV-treated rainwater. There is a vegetable greenhouse on the property and the hosts are generous in sharing produce. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean. The bed is large and superb.
The place is next-door to the fabled Motueka River for fly-fishing enthusiasts; and, it is only about a 15 min. drive to Motueka city center and its Sunday Market.

「Everything was great. The chalet was very spacious and and comfortable. Could walk across gardens then down to the beach which was very long and private. Best thing though was the hot tub perched on top of the cliff in front of the the owner's cabin which they allowed us for use. It is separated from their residence by a hedge for privacy. 「This is a nice ‘Bach’ type apartment with a lovely view over the nearby hills.
Inside it was clean and had good amenities.
It is part of a building used for art and craft , the ‘frost and fire’ gallery.
Unfortunately while we were there the kiln shed next door was in use, which meant the occasional whiff of smoke from the kilns when the wind changed direction, and sound and voices coming from it throughout the first night as it was being used.
