The first thing that happened when we arrived was the alarm system started beeping at 6pm, multiple beeps every 1 minute, until silenced. Then it happened again at 9pm. We called the property manager, which is Vacasa. They were unhelpful and didn't seem to understand the problem. We knew how to silence it, but we couldn't make it stop. It continued to go off at 8am, 6pm, and 9pm every day we were there. I called Vacasa multiple times, and they never got back to me with any kind of solution.
There is a Direct TV set up, but it doesn't work-- you can watch a program for only a few minutes before the screen freezes, and it remains frozen for up to 10 minutes, so basically you can't watch TV.
There is WiFi, but it cuts out every 10 minutes. My spouse had to work during the day, and this was impossible without an internet connection. There is almost no signal at all at the house for either Verizon or T-Mobile. So, to stay there you are almost completely off the grid.
Other broken items:
the garage door opener did not work-- likely needs a new battery
The spray part of the kitchen faucet is broken
Living room light fixture is out
The master bed is king sized and has a memory foam mattress topper on it. I'm sure lots of people like that, but it is terrible if you have back issues or get hot at night.
The house was clean and there were plenty of towels and the kitchen is well supplied with dishes and pans. The knives are so dull it is dangerous to use them.
The location is high up in the hills above the town, not near anything, but because Wenatchee is so small, you can get most places within 15 minutes. The drive up to Mission Ridge is only 32 minutes.
Overall, we tolerated it fine, but I would not stay there again. And I will avoid renting from Vacasa ever again-- they were terrible.
