"Modern clean hotel room with a huge toilet and comfy beds. There is a dryer in the room which makes it easy to wash / dry clothes.
Staff are super helpful - we needed to heat up lunch and they offered to assist. "

The hotel information could be updated to provide clearer information about additional costs, like linens, transport from rail/airports, which train station is actually closest. A folder including I for on the area would be nice, too, for first time visitors to the area.

"Savonlinna Rentals is modern and spotlessly tidy throughout. It’s very close to the Savonlinna train station. It has fast WIFI and a good number of bathrooms (shared). Lastly it is relatively inexpensive. I would definitely stay again."
"Beautiful place set by lake outside the town of Puumala. It was a very peaceful and serene setting, a great place to go to get away from busy cities.

"Very pleasant stay at this nice hotel situated almost at the top of a mountain. Friendly staff, great view over lake Pielinen and just a short walk from Paha-Koli and Akka-Koli view points. Also a very decent restaurant. "

"Wonderful camping. Camping itself is quite big. You can choose to live in apartment, villa, small og big cabin, tent or park a camper. Shared kitchen and wc/douche are clean and big enough. Camping offers free sauna every morning which we enjoued much. You cal also find a private beach and orhet places where you can swim in the lake. Mojority of cabins have a lave wiev. You cal also find a good restorant in campings area and mini waterpark which is popular among kids. Lady in reception is very polite and explains everything we were intrested in."
"Very disappointing. Hotel deceptive on booking site as many facilities offered were not available. Definitely not ‘Nature’ Hotel. Hotel old building on busy road being renovated and was not finished. Rooms small and hot. Reception was 1k away. No staff on site except breakfast cook who could not speak English. Breakfast on first day was preprepared. Nowhere to leave bags after checkout. Towels thin and old. No bedside lamps, no kettle, no onsite cafe.
However staff at reception were helpful and made numerous trips to hotel to solve problems, and Finnish cook on site did his best as well.staff went above and beyond their roles to try to make stay pleasant despite problems.
Definitely not what was advertised on Hotels.com. And not worth the money.
