"This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event."

"Climbing to a third story room when there was no one on the first two floors was a bit baffling. (We’re old) The room was a pleasant surprise as it was spacious and clean and the second bath was truly appreciated. We couldn’t use the bedroom bathroom sink as the stopper seemed to be permanently stopped. Being greeted at the main door was regrettable as the trash receptacle was overflowing. All in all not a bad stay but a return is doubtful."

"Check in was easy. Charging me $40 for early arrival is crazy. Room was adequate for the price. Bar was closed all 3 days and breakfast was basic bagels and muffins. Handicap parking was full of locals that park there and ride the free shuttle to the casino. My wife is disabled so this was a concern. Casino was boring and full of smokers. All but one bar was closed along with both high end restaurants. Nothing spectacular to report. The one open bar had nothing but overpriced beer. How about some signature cocktails ? Bartender had no clue. No entertainment available except Trivia Night contest in the sportsbook area. Really ???Went to the horse racing and found this place offered no food except a broken vending machine and one indoor bar slinging beers at $7 a cup. Outdoor seating on benches was the only option as upper clubhouse was empty and full of cobwebs and neglect. Very disappointed first visit for our anniversary and sadly will be our last. If you’re a local just wanting to play slots all day, then this place might be for you."

"This is an HISTORIC Inn that is very well maintained. The 1st floor common area has sitting rooms that take you back in history. They've decorated rooms like they were in the late 1700's & into the 1800's. The Innkeepers are super nice. They make you a delicious Inn-cooked breakfast each morning. The frittatas are awesome but everything else is tasty too. Rooms are clean. We would highly recommend this Inn. If we are back in Harpers Ferry for more overnights, this is the place we will stay."
