Top Eastern Sicily Hotel Reviews

Hotel Bel Soggiorno

10/10 Excellent

"Es un hotel antiguo con mucho carácter. Tiene parqueo , a 10 min a pie del centro de Taormina, desayuno delicioso y variado, personal amable. Si le molesta el ruido el fin de semana puede ser bullicioso en la noche pues hay un bar o disco cerca con música alta hasta altas horas de la noche... nada que un par de tapones de oído no solucionen."

Algila' Ortigia Charme Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The style and age of the building was baroque and elegant, well maintained and a very comfortable room. Loved the bathroom and toiletries, and the maids kept the room very clean and adequately supplied with water and toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and cooked breakfast to order. Kitchen staff were very hard working, and ordering food could have been simplified, but when it did arrive was very well cooked. The reception staff were very professional and exceedingly helpful and courteous in helping us to find our way, and to book tours. We really enjoyed our afternoon tea in the annexe building, and appreciated the lovely music played, which was very appropriate and classical. A really lovely hotel ideally situated in the heart of Ortigia, which is a beautiful work of art. Would love to return some day."

Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

8/10 Good

"This property as 3 pools. The staff are lovely. Yes, it's very quiet at this hotel. You can walk to the ocean where there are several local restaurants with wonderful food. The village at the bottom of the hill is cozy and costal. The food at the hotel wasn't my favorite that's why it's 4 stars. They gave us "complementary" food, but charged us for it in the end - eh - maybe that was the language barrier, who knows. the staff left cookies in our room every evening which was a treat. The views are beautiful. Our room was crowded with furniture, coffee and tea makers which was cumbersome. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and the products were great. They helped us arrange transpo to Taormina, taxis to local places, and we set up a local winery tour on or own. An easy ride to/from the train station."

Four Points by Sheraton Catania Hotel & Conference Center

10/10 Excellent

"This is a nice hotel but a bit far from downtown area. Our bedroom was very nice and had a little terraza just for two overlooking the ionian sea. Superb! Nice staff, we borrowed a current adaptor without problems. The only observation is that bathrooms should be inspected once in a while. The water in our sink would not go down, but we were able to enjoy our stay. Breakfast is not included in this hotel."
