Pros and Cons

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. A few minor tweaks would take this house from just "nice" to "a lovely dream". Pros: great location by the bike trail; quiet, attractive street; beautiful natural light; well-equipped kitchen; comfortable deck furniture; great for kids 7+; bike and beach gear storage in the basement; outdoor shower; convenient to First Encounter, Great Pond, Herring Pond, Coast Guard Beach, Orleans. Cons: had to empty the basement dehumidifier 2x per day to keep the house from smelling like mildew; Captain's Quarters queen size bed was too soft and sagged in the middle; basement steps are a safety hazard (no gate to keep a child from falling down the stairs)

Great trip

Had a great time on the Cape staying here. Everything was as it should be except for a broken upper bunk bed bed frame. I notified Vacasa, who responded immediately. I was caught off guard that the place does not have A/C, but that's my fault. It is crossed off in the amenities. The place has plenty of fans and stayed cool. I would book again!

Definitely NOT a place I would recommend to stay at. You can’t get in until 4 pm on the dot, and we arrived and the cleaning people were still there well past check in so we couldn’t get in even though we waited all day. The house is VERY dirty, bugs everywhere and spiderwebs all over as if it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Run down and pretty gross. The outdoor chairs were all rusted out so they are unusable which was really unfortunate because the house gets hot since there isn’t ac. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bunk beds were actually broken so you can’t sleep in them. Floors were so dirty we had to wipe our feet off every night. Management was terrible and you just talk to some customer service person or ai who does nothing. DONT STAY HERE
