The Burrows is a perfect retreat for 2 (or more) when you just want to get away to relax in front of the fireplace, soak in the extra deep tub, or gaze at the stars from the deck. A comfortable, clean, updated space is a perfect way to regain your balance, wake up refreshed, recharged, and ready to explore the Cape.
I respect the autonomy of my guests and can easily be reached by facetime, email, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signal, or yodeling. Communication with guests is important to us. Located in the Heart of Cape Cod, our home is centrally located near ocean beaches, bay beaches, and fresh water ponds for swimming. Just minutes from Salt Pond Visitors Center, Arnolds, Cape Cod Rail Trail, National Seashore, and many fabulous restaurants.
The Beach towels are ready. The sandwiches are made and the sunscreen is packed. As you sit on the deck under the trees, leisurely enjoying your coffee and being serenaded by the birds, you breathe deep and look forward to your day of adventure ahead of you.
Days at the beach, outdoor showers and bonfires in the backyard. Applauding when the sun dips below the horizon at First Encounter beach. Stargazing through the telescope out on the deck with the kids. Burgers on the grill and ice cream at the Ice Cream Café to end the day.
Being centrally located in Eastham, you are in the perfect spot for day trips to Provincetown, bike rides on the nearby Cape Cod Rail Trail, movies at the Wellfleet Drive-In, and strolling through the shops in all the nearby towns finding that perfect souvenir.
Our home features three large bedrooms (two upstairs and one down), and two full baths. An extra deep tub is perfect for long bubble baths and using the spa amenities provided. The large, open kitchen has all the updated appliances you need for a four-course meal or just zapping some popcorn in the microwave for movie night. The large Roku tv hangs over the fireplace and two comfortable couches are available for snuggling under some cozy throw blankets while watching your favorite streaming channel. The dining room offers a fantastic table with seating for eight and there is also an outdoor dining table next to the grill just off the kitchen.
The fire pit is ready for your firewood, s’mores, and a good story or two to make your trip complete. The house is in a nice, quiet, residential area at the very end of a cul-de-sac. With no surrounding light noise, a telescope allows you to peer into the night sky and witness the stars and galaxies from far, far away.
