Fantastic trip with friends

Great for a crowd. We had a few bumps with cleanliness but with the three king beds and separate three bathrooms it was nice for 3 couples. Big entertainment deck with 180 degree views of Orcas and beyond.

Fantastic property

Our family and friends had a wonderful stay. The views are better in person and the sunsets are endless. Easy drive into town. There is plenty to do for people of all ages. This was our second stay at the property, ages 1-44years old. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and the home is clean. We didn't want to leave this slice of paradise!

Incredible views!

This was my second time staying at this home, and the views are incredible! Absolutely magical! The bedrooms and primary bathroom are nice and very functional, but the house could use a little care and updating. The kitchen and grill work well for dinners at home.

There is plenty of room in this home for a family of 8 but With just 4 of us, it was perfect! The views were absolutely amazing! The home can use some updating but easily overlooked when you can sit on the deck and watch beautiful sunsets .

Wow! What an amazing view of Orcas and the islands. We made sure to be on the deck for the sunset each night. Plenty of room and comfy beds for 9 adults. We cooked meals and there was everything we needed to cook with.

Perfect Respite from the Busy City Life

The amenities were perfect, and the view can’t be beat. I loved the sunset view and we saw eagles, humpbacks, seals, harbor porpoises, and tons of other wildlife from the back deck. There are even binoculars, so you can get a close up view. There is an Eagle’s nest nearby, so you can see them easily with the naked eye

You just cannot beat that view. The house was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, and vacasa was very responsive to an electrical problem, sending someone up to sort it out within hours. Highly recommend

Spacious house with magnificent views

We had an unforgettable time with our kids and grandkids. Spacious, clean house, well equipped kitchen and a huge deck with panoramic views looking to North, West and South. We would love to return. Highly recommended.

And that’s why you rent this house. The lower deck is dangerous and should be avoided. The upper deck is covered in sap. But, oh, the views over the San Juan Islands!!

Wow what a view!

The moment you walk into this house, you are hit with one of the most amazing views I have ever seen from the comfort of a big spacious home. There is a tv in every room, and I don't think turned on the tv more than once. I just wanted to sit and take in the amazing view, and the fresh mountain air.

Fantastic view

Very spacious and fantastic views all around. However, we encountered an issue with the water heater our last night there. The shower downstairs did not heat up, and I had to use the master shower which turned cold halfway through. Overall, still an enjoyable experience.

What a beautiful place.

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax and unwind. This is the place. Stunning, panoramic views surround you on the deck. Sunsets sing the day away with their amazing colors. With a grill, maragita blemder, kitchen and 8 person dining table - you really have everything you could need. When you make the reservation be sure to take the master bedroom. The wake up views alone were worth it. We were just a family of 4, with 2 adults, an 8 year old and a 91 year old. Everyone had an amazing time!

GREAT VIEW, MAINTENANCE NEEDED

Great 180 degree view, very large rooms and amenities. However, MAINTENANCE is sorely needed: broken TV in living room; no instructions for TVs, appliances, and front door lock; dirty windows; burned out light bulbs; very noisy HVAC fan. Dead plants in pots. Living room is too dark to read, needs better lighting. Front door has 5 boxes/switches that appear to unlock, but only one is the correct one - no instructions on which one.

Magnificent views from an older property

Our group of 8 enjoyed the magnificent views from this interesting property. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart. In the winter, it would be extremely challenging. When we arrive, the heat was not turned on and it was very cold. We were looking forward to having wood-burning fires in each of the fireplaces but unfortunately, they did not leave us firewood as I had requested in advance. We contacted them and someone brought firewood later that night. The master suite is really nice in the bathroom is incredible and is very appropriate for anyone with handicaps with all the grab bars. Kitchen is well outfitted, except we were missing knives and forks. In the quantity of eight. We use the barbecue extensively on the deck. Nice seating outside, and a table. Downstairs the family room has been converted into a bedroom with three beds. That bathroom contains the sauna, which we did use quite a bit. It turns on easily and heats up quickly. Unfortunately, the windows desperately needed to be cleaned, which impacted our view. But overall a wonderful stay. They will not let you check in early FYI even if someone is not even there.
