Ooit goed, nu minder.

Ik vond de ontvangst niet erg prettig omdat er voor 16u alles dicht is. Weliswaar kan je niet voor 16 u incheckenmaar toch. De inrichting is verzorgd maar behoorlijk gedateerd. En technisch achterhaald.

Flexibilitet på minusskalan, frukost från 07:00 och djup suck när vi ber om frukost redan 06:30 för att hinna till dagens möten. Utlovas fri WiFi men signalen är för dålig så ingen uppkopplingen går att upprätta.

Das Hotel hatte geschlossen!!!

Wir standen vor verschlossenen Türen. Wegen Umbau geschlossen. Es hing ein Zettel dort mit einer fast unleserlichen Telefonnummer. Erreichen konnte man niemanden, nur die Mailbox. Als Antwort kam eine SMS: sie hätten keine Reservierung, ob wir uns im Tag geirrt hätten. Hatten wir nicht. Dieses Hotel ganz sicher nicht mehr.

Ontvangst is prettig en attent. De hostes is vriendelijk en denkt met je mee. Was even wennen dat de woensdag hun rustdag is, waardoor alle deuren gesloten zijn. Wijzelf konden met de sleutel wel ongehinderd het hotel verlaten en binnentreden. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd met een uitgebreid buffet. Als diner staan er verrassende dingen op de kaart. Sommige Zweeds georiënteerd. Al met al een een prettig verblijf gehad.

Im Niemandsland bei Bamberg

Etwas abseits, aber nahe Bamberg. Kleines Gasthaus mit großen schönen Zimmern, z.T. mit großer Gemeinschaftsterasse. Das Restaurant ist verwinkelt, hat aber einen Außenbereich, wo man angenehm sitzen kann. Neben einer sehr großen Waffelkarte gibt es auch klassisches wie Schnitzel, Pizza, Salate oder Brot mit Wursst/Käse etc. und ein paar schwedische Gerichte, da Mutter und Tochter, sehr charmant mit schwedischem Akzent, aus Göteborg stammen. Frühstück ist auch gut und insgesamt ist es preiswert.

Hotel, dass sein Potenzial nicht ausschöpft

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Bundesstraße und einer Bahnlinie. Das Zimmer hatte einen Balkon, der allerdings gemeinsam mit 4 Hotelzimmern genutzt wurde. Somit konnte Nachts trotz großer Hitze im Zimmer kein Fenster geöffnet werden. Die Zimmer waren weitestgehend in Ordnung - allerdings hätte das Bad eine Renovierung verdient (klapprige Duschkabine, vergilbte Fugen, …) Das Hotel schöpft sein vorhandenes Potential aus meiner Sicht nicht aus. Es ist ein schön eingerichtetes Hotel, das im Detail leider "unordentlich" ist: - Kuntstoffpflanzen im Frühstücksraum - Durcheinander auf dem Tresen - Parkplatz voller Unkraut und Moos - Hotelnamen an der Hauswand teilweise unvollständig - Unordnung im Frühstücksraum Diese Dinge ließen sich schnell, einfach und kostengünstig beheben und somit den Wohlfühlfaktor erhöhen. Ein besonderes Angebot zur Kaffeezeit (z.B. diverse Waffelkreationen, Windbeutel, …) würden sicher auch die Verweildauer der Gäste im Hotel erhöhen. Regionale Gerichte (das müssen auch nicht viele sein) zur Abendzeit würden das Angebot vervollständigen. Wie in der Überschrift schon erwähnt - das Hotel hat Potenzial und das müsste nur noch genutzt werden.

Nice Stay

We had a nice stay, nothing fancy, just the basics, but very clean and the hotel clerk was wonderful, very nice. We checked in and received a bottle of water, very nice. There is no tea pot in the rooms, so if you want tea in the evening, you have to order in the restaurant, and they close at 2000. I would recommend a tea pot for the rooms. Beds were comfortable, shower was very small and no light over the shower, only light in the bathroom was over the sink, so it was a little dark to shower. Breakfast was very good, typical continental breakfast. This was a nice place to stay, nothing near by to eat so we ate in their restaurant, which was okay.
