"Boston Marriott Newton was my high school summer job many years ago. In between that and 2o years, I have recommended the hotel because of my experience there and because I'm a local. Last weekend I stayed at the hotel and everything was wonderful. The bed, climate control, comfort, quiet, etc. But this review drops big time because they apparently charge for WiFi. Most third world countries give out free WiFi and in 2026 in America we are now doing that to people? Or force them to submit their data by opening a Marriott account to get 'free' WiFi? Just so Marriott can sell our data to brokers and expose us to the world? Damn, how much things have changed. This is corruption at the highest level. I could easily give you a 1 star but I'm gonna keep it light. "

"The bed was really comfortable, I'm normally picky about hotel pillows but these were nice and not totally flat. Room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked (although I didn't need to use it) Would stay here again!"

"Breakfast was good and was kept fresh and full. I was unaware of the $10.00 per night parking charge."

"Gym was above hotel average. Breakfast was great with a lot of good options. Only issue was our room- the beds weren't great and the pillows undersized for the beds. There was food visibly smashed into one of the purple chairs, but we got in so late we didnt want to go down and change rooms. Kind of made me question everything, but nothing else seemed amiss. Very generously sized room with a living and kitchen area."

"Parking is excellent - abundant and no extra cost. Right in between iHop and McDonalds so that may be convenient for many. Room was clean, and comfortable bed. TV quality was fuzzy but I didn't report it or try to fix the connection."

"Mixed stay. It was a cute house, in a good location (if you have a car) that fit the 6 of us. The host was very accessible and the house decently equipped. Those are the positives. Now, the negatives. All three beds are atrociously soft with slanted mattresses, cheap polyester sheets and stains. The outdoor furniture (outdoor space was a prime reason we rented this house) was so dirty that none of us wanted to sit on it. The place had not been cleaned well before our arrival, including leftover milk being left out in the counter. There is no real coffee maker, just a Keurig. The owner's assistant never returned with a promised extension cord needed for a bedside lamp. The "adjoining" bedroom means you walk through one to get to the other. And finally, probably the most disconcerting, the owner messaged to tell us that parking should be in the driveway right as friends who parked on the street were leaving, making it ckear that she was watching (creepy), and in conflict with the sign in the house that says that street parking is acceptable.So, no, we wouldn't rent this house again, especially at the price point."
