Get away Maine weekend

The studio apartment was as advertised .. so cute.. cozy and comfortable. VERY clean. Perfect for a couple. The view was very nice and there were outside chairs on the property to sit and enjoy! There was just a small microwave to cook in and a small refrigerator. ( setting might have been set too high) I would have found it beneficial to have an electric frying pan or an electric griddle to make eggs or stir-fry veggies . One other item I couldn't find was a manual can opener. The neighbor ( who will be renting her unit) was there and was very nice and she lent me one. There is a restaurant on the property which we had dinner at. The food was amazing! The service was new. Location is very accessible to Wiscasset ( the home of the famous REDS lobster rolls) I walked the 2 mile bridge and back. We also drove to other nearby spots.

Lovely stay along coastal Maine

This unit was nicely situated on the Sheepscot River, walking distance to the charming village of Wiscassett. The view from the unit was typical Maine and beautiful. Nice apartment for a couple and was comfortable for multiple days. Kitchen provides bare necessities and a small refrigerator that didn’t fit our water bottles. For coffee, there is only a Keurig so plan accordingly.
