「We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down.」

We were a little disappointed in not being able to use the wood stove although the heating unit did a great job of keeping the place warm. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit. 「Our stay was perfect! The house is spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and nicely appointed. We had a game room and really enjoyed the hot tub. We watched the birds from the back deck and had a view of Ty’s lake. It looks like the house was recently remodeled, and has some really nice details. I’d love to come stay here again.」

「This was our second stay at the property. It is lovely and comfortable and we felt like we were coming home again. There's lots of amenities and extras. It was just my husband and myself and we were there to tend to my 97 year old Aunt who lives on Eden Isle. When we came in for the evening, it was like we were being wrapped in a warm blanket. I thank the owners deeply for their agreement to our special circumstances. We highly recommend this wonderful oasis.」
