Poor management. Poor communication among staff. Staff are unhelpful. Lack of sense of urgency to address the customer's queries. Defensive attitude towards complaints. The presence of blame culture in the management.

很不错喔
算不上特别近的位置，但走走也没多久，附近有绿线tour bus的站，周围很安静，总体很舒适，房间也挺大的，唯一只有一位女士的态度比较傲慢，其他都很好！早餐也不错，热菜是单点的，很好！

The hotel and management were just wonderful! I loved my deluxe room with 24 hr room service. The hotel itself was charming and very warm & welcoming. I will definitely be staying on my return trip.

We loved this hotel in Edimburg. Our room was just so lovely with huge windows and all the light going in. Spacious and so comfortable. Its close enough to old a new Edimburgh. The staf were super helpful. It's a really wonderful hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bonham! The staff were all excellent, very attentive, polite and helpful. The room was lovely, clean and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself is in a great location, within a 10 minute walk of the bottom of Princes Street. I would definitely stay here again

Comfortable and clean
Clean, cute and chic. I enjoyed my stay but I wouldn’t class the hotel as 5 stars — maybe 4.5 stars. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. I loved the decor of the hotel. My tv didn’t work throughout my stay and not much effort was made to fix it. Loved the free snacks in the room. Shower wasn’t great.

A truly exceptional stay
One of my favourite hotels in Edinburgh. The Bonham is always exceptional whenever I stay from the arrival, you’re always made to feel so welcome. The hotel itself is absolutely spotless and the staff are organised beyond efficiency. The rooms have everything you need and the extras make the stay even more special. The dining and bar facilities are always wonderful and the staff on hand to help with anything. I cannot recommend the Bonhan enough.

We had a view of Dean Village from our room. The furniture in the room, the bar and living rooms is very lavish. Cleanliness is excellent. The washroom has heated floors and heated towel hangers. The bartender was so nice to us, he recommended drinks to try and he was on point. They kept our luggage even after we checked out so we could explore the area on foot a bit more. The hotel is only a few minutes of walk from St-Mary’s Cathedral and from the Water of Leith. By far the best hotel I have ever been too. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely stay at the Bonham Hotel
Beautiful hotel in the Scottish style. Very cozy and plush, but also stylish. Good location in a quite neighborhood, but still close to all major attractions. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and implacable rooms. Beautiful Christmas decor.

Just back from an absolutely superb weekend at the Bonham. Everything was absolutely first class, the hotel and room was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great! Lovely comfortable bar too!

The combination of the original architecture ( not built as a hotel) and the private ownership of the hotel (not a chain) result in a feeling of beauty, attentiveness and relaxation. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with a decent amount of space. The hotel was quiet and the staff were extremely accommodating. The breakfast is top notch. There is something for everyone and staff are super eager to cater to allergies and special diets. The hotel is beautifully designed for an authentic experience that compliments the city.

Our room was in the hotel basement. Subterranean. Classified as a Garden View Superior King, we were astonished if not stupefied to discover that our room was below street level — allowing us to see pedestrians’ legs close up. What’s more, the bathroom would only accommodate one adult at a time — and the closet space was so minuscule that we couldn’t unpack. The room safe was inconveniently located on a high shelf in the closet, which we couldn’t reach without a chair. We paid approximately USD 500 for the room, fortunately for one night only. The room bore absolutely no resemblance to the garden view rooms showcased on their website. We felt utterly deceived. There was even a maintenance guy literally working right outside our window while we were getting dressed. I am a Japanese national and made the reservation in my name and I can only deduce that the hotel, as they allocated the superior kings from best to worst, gave us the basement — after all, “I’ll not complain”……but I did. To no avail. The front desk staff were at best ambivalent, at worst condescending. We never heard from the manager and there was no effort to recover. Nothing. The only other alternative room was a SUITE by paying a signifucant difference.

Really enjoyed the gin and whiskey selection at the bar. Also enjoyed the tea and cookie selection in the room, which was topped up daily. We arrived for check in early and our room was ready so that was a wonderful stroke of luck after a long flight too. Would totally return if our travels take us through Edinburgh again!
