Late Summer Family Trip

The cottage was perfect for the four of us! Great view of course, full kitchen and amenities. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Great Stay and Play @ Horseshoe Bay

We came into Door County for a wedding! We truly enjoyed our stay at Horseshoe Bay with all it's amenities. The golf course, the club house dining and the lakeside pool were first class all the way! We'll be back!

Great area wonderful amenities

Really enjoyed the location and club house at Horseshoe Bay. The 1st floor is great for kids and restaurant and pools were awesome. The cottage itself needs updating, the carpet is very old and bathroom shower did. It work.

Comfortable and quiet

We would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay, away from the traffic of Egg Harbor. We were a bit disappointed that VRBO guests do not have access to the pickleball courts, but we enjoyed using the outdoor pool. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs.

Nice condo

The condo was nice and as described. Plenty of room for 2 couples. Beds were comfy. Kitchen and bathroom extras were appreciated. Close to town. Easy access to condo. Good communication with company...would stay here again.

great area/ loved the club amenities

I really enjoyed the cottages at Horse shoe Bay, the location was great and the clubhouse meals, amenities, ect were exceptional. I would suggest changing the carpeting in condo(there was a strong smell that we could not eliminate even after opening windows.. I like the first floor unit location as it was perfect for our grandson to just go outside and play.

Close to action but quiet get away in comfort

We enjoyed the location—quiet and lovely surroundings. Enough room for two couples. Adequate kitchen. Comfortable furniture. But everything is tired and needs a thorough cleaning: air exchange vents are black with dirt. The bathroom tile grout especially around the bathtub need mold/mildew treatment. And the door and window sills need cleaning. Not enough towels. One towel for the kitchen, seriously? And no extra towels for the bathrooms. We had to buy two. Every other VRBO I’ve rented had extras! Nice glassware and ample dishes. Sad kitchen utensils and flatware. The bathtub drains very slowly so we stood in water during a shower. Oh and no extra clothes hangars—maybe two or four. And no pantry. You see, we were entertaining guests and introducing this couple to Wisconsin and Door County. I had trouble renting a house and the owner, so this was a fallback. But not all bad as they were comfortable. But I have rented properties all over the country. And we find that the regular cleaning people do not report things needing fixing or deep cleaning. Consequently the owners or managers need regular checkups. Please convey this to the proper people.

Just some issues with tv steaming One of the bedroom remotes did not work and we had issues with main tv remote called for batteries was told maintenance would bring some and never did. Otherwise loved the location very clean unit with comfortable beds

Recent Stay

Great stay as always but not knowing the golf course and clubhouse were closed the majority of time we were there Monday - Wednesday was disappointing as we could not golf, use the range, have donner at clubhouse and use the workout facilities.
