"Rental of this property in the winter season has some issues but overall, it met our needs. After a very long drive, we arrived at 4 am. We were unable to check in until later in the morning. Once we checked in at the hotel next door, getting into the apartment was a challenge. You need to access through a side gate, find the elevator in the dark, maneuver around obstacles in the dark before getting to the apartment. The front access / lobby is closed this time of year and all the furniture...

"We loved the house and location however it took (2) days of heating the house to get the chill to retreat and make it tolerable . The tile floors on the first floor retained the cold; so we retreated to the upstairs bedroom to warm up to sleep. We are sure it would be a more pleasant experience in the summer months"

"The property was perfect for a lovely, relaxing holiday, with easy access to beautiful beaches in Spain and Portugal, groceries and essentials, and all of the comforts of home. The pool was fabulous. Hosts Gabby and Rod were super responsive. We would 100% recommend and would be so pleased to return. "

"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...
