It is a 35 minute walk to Playa Magdalena, so you might find better to rent a bike, to make it easier to move to the other beaches and around town. We drove into Santander and found the free on site parking very convenient. I parked myself and it was quite an experience since you access the parking space on a car lift. I……

“We used the automated check in and they emailed me to code to the wrong room, so I walked in on a poor woman in her underwear. This is a serious security and privacy issue. I called and someone answered right away, so we only waited about ten minutes before they called back and gave me the code to a different, vacant room. Otherwise the stay was fine. “Room was not very large but packed in kitchenette and ensuite bathroom with small veranda with view over the nature reserve opposite. Staff were welcoming enthusiastic and very helpful they made the stay so good. The roof top bar was good to sit in the sun although the bar only serves in the summer. ”
