"Great area, not far from Alhambra and a short drive from city center. The hotel was nice with good amenties. The lobby and common areas are more recently renovated and well decorated. But our room was older and some renovation would have made it look even better. Breakfast was also pretty good. Overall a good stay at a good price. "

"The place is stunning, but it’s surprising that breakfast is limited to 39 Euros, with no smaller options. Of course, you can walk down a steep hill, but would have been nice to have a baguette and coffee at a more modest charge. That aside, this is an exceptional place"

"The location is great easily accessible and walkable. Staff very helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. My only thought is instant coffee in the room is a little mean a Nespresso machine and 5 pods can't possibly be expensive. Used the pool and bar on the roof didn't have any breakfast. "Our stay was only 2 nights and 1 full day. The staff were great and very helpful. This place is a very interesting place to stay and I slept great despite some noisy neighbor drunk ugly crying for a couple hours. I'm pretty understanding when it comes to living in a repurposed older establishment so I don't generally think it's fair to knock it for its old home characteristics (hearing toilets flush and noisy floors) but room and bathroom configuration could have been thought out a little better. I'm not sure the remodeling plans were super well designed. Shower doors only covered just under half the length of tub so water running off your elbows goes right on the floor in front of the toilet, tub space is too small for a taller person. I'm 6'1 and my head was very close to the ceiling in the tub area. At some point I got a minor whiff of sewer gas in the bathroom (don't ask me how I know what it was). That generally is a sign that the plumbing is either incorrectly designed or there is a failure somewhere. This however was not much of a problem because the smell went away very quickly and was only in the bathroom. Regardless I had a good experience and was comfortable. Location was great, room was clean, ac worked well and we slept great! Which is why I still think it deserves 4 stars. Bathrooms could use some work though."

"Excellent buffet breakfast. Clean room. Beds very comfortable if you like firm. Slightly marked down the condition score because the bathroom tiles were painted over and the caulking around the shower was slightly discoloured. Location excellent for a short bus ride to Granada. "
