The property manager was extremely responsive, the neighbors were very nice — one even recommended a local swimming hole — and the house was very cute and unique. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the sunrise over the Hudson. We also loved being able to walk into the village center for dinner and ice cream. The house was clean, comfortable, and we very much enjoyed our stay. ”

“This property is perfectly located between Saugerties and Kingston with easy access to both. We wanted a place that was easy to explore the area from and we scored with this house. Everything was clean and we were provided with everything we could need, pots & pans, soap & shampoo, washer & dryer--all of it. We also had plenty of room to do the work we brought with us. The house stayed cool the whole time (day & night) and we really enjoyed it. ”

“Beautiful location overlooking the Hudson River. Near many cute small towns, nice restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. Weather was dreadfully hot during our stay, so a/c had a hard time keeping the upstairs cool - pool was very welcome respite. Not as clean as we hoped which we communicated to the host after our stay and she waived our cleaning fee.”

“Great place to stay, spacious inside with full kitchen and family friendly layout, and nice outdoor fire pit area. Roughly 15-30 min to our chosen destinations, close to groceries & gas for those forgotten items.”

“Lovely property, inside and out. Views of the forest that surround the home could be seen from every window and were especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. One day we were entertained by two adolescent deer and their mother. The kitchen is well supplied. If we are in the area again, we would love to stay at this property.”

“Great rustic home in a very secluded setting in the mountains above Woodstock. 6 minutes to eclectic popular town of Woodstock with shops and great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the screened in porch and some ping pong. The AC units are not in bedrooms so it could get a little warm in hotter weather, but we were mostly comfortable since it was cool for July and the house is nicely shaded.”

Cheryl left great ideas at the house and was available for all of our questions. We were close to everything we were planning to do, and had the serenity of nature to enjoy. The quiet was pure joy.
