Big and Very Clean room, nice lady running it - but two things I didn't love - the guy in the next room creeped me out, and the property is not off route 40 - it's a ways away so it was pretty deserted on a Tuesday night. I was assured it was safe, but with the super cheap OYO hostel/hotel across the street, and the lady went dashing when she saw someone out there- I barricaded myself in for the night. Ultimately I over reacted- it was just a small town and I felt better about it in the morning.

Room was very spacious and clean, enjoyed having a recliner to sit in. Mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker and coffee all provided. Well maintained property. I would definitely stay here again.

...which is some of the charm! It's old, it's musky, it's basic, and that suited me fine as a spartan solo traveler. I didn't think to ask for the wifi password at check-in, but soon after, I opened the desk drawer and found a post-it note. I don't know if that's in every room, but it worked for me!

We were doing a Route 66 family trip, so we loved the Flamingo Inn. It is right on Route 66. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even suggested on where to go and enjoy the evening. Please keep in mind this is 67-year-old hotel. It is well maintained, it is clean, and it is reasonably priced. We loved staying in a true Route 66 era hotel and would stay there again should we go back.

When I asked to check in, the staff member handed me an application form and tapped it with a pen. It felt like a police interrogation. The sheets were wrinkled and stained. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned since the previous guest. There were yellow and black spots scattered all over the sheets. The lighting was very dim. The bathtub was still wet. The armrest of the chair was broken. The clock was unplugged. But the price was definitely low. The low price justifies the poor service. If you want a nice place to stay, you can pay double the price. Only the toilet and refrigerator were very clean.
The bed was left in use by the previous guest.
There are stains here and there.

Location was convenient. Cheap price. Service was okay but room had beg bugs. We all woke up with bite marks, itchy and I saw one crawling. Left as early as we could.
