Maximum occupancy including day guests is six (6) people. Children from age 1 and above are counted in the occupancy. All cabins require a cleaning fee, along with a Non-Refundable Processing Fee (which includes a Damage Waiver Fee for returning guests), Taxes are currently 18%. All rates and seasons are subject to change. Rates include the holiday and surrounding nights. Coosawattee River Resort charges a $59 gate fee for all reservations, plus a $20 resort fee paid through Sliding Rock Cabins and we submit it to the resort. If a reservation is made within 2 business days of arrival, the resort charges an additional $20. There is an amenity card provided for every reservation. If it is not returned to Sliding Rock Cabins, there is a $120 fee to replace it.
Coosawattee River Resort has implemented fines for certain behaviors while occupying the cabin. These fees will be charged to the guest, and guests agree to paying these fines via security deposit or authorizing a credit card charge:
- Reckless Endangerment, trash, littering; $150
-Noise complaints: $250 and above
-Discharge of Firearms & unattended fires $500
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up.
