Great Property

Our family of 9 stayed for a Deer Hollow for a week and had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything your family will need for a great vacation. The kitchen has every pan and appliance you will ever need. Games, fire pit, air hockey all were in good supply and working order. Our only problem was the check was difficult because we did not have good instructions about how to get through the front gate and and the key code at the front door was not correct. I am sure they will correct that and it will not be an issue in the future.. Thank you for sharing you cozy, beautiful home with our family, we loved it!

Very nice place

This is a fabulous place to stay, close to Ellijay. The kitchen is really stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great for privacy with 3 levels. Unfortunately, the advertised screened in porch was locked with no key, so we were never able to use it, even after contacting vacasa. This was a huge disappointment especially since we chose this because of the porch being an additional space to use. We also had a lot of trouble with communication between vacasa and the resort “central”, security entrance. I provided all the names of guests multiple times to vacasa and vrbo both and was told it was properly set up, only to arrive and have no names given to the security gate. It took several times of giving names and taking up time and phone calls. It was finally handled, but it was a huge inconvenience. They never brought a key to the porch either. It’s unfortunate because otherwise it was a fantastic experience.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Deer Hollow. Everything seemed very clean and we had everything we needed and lots of room for my whole family. Great water pressure and hot water. Management was very responsive when we called them. We had a little trouble getting in gate a few times. Vacasa sent us two different lot numbers, and one of the security personnel seemed to have trouble letting us in. Just to let you know you need to provide the exact first and last names of everyone entering this resort and talk to a security person every time you enter. You are not allowed guests even for a few hours with out registering them a week before you will be there. This was very sad as we would of liked to invite some relatives for dinner or coffee and could not.
