I was quite impressed by this Inn. Furniture was obviously dated and bathroom wall could have used a lick of paint but the premises were well kept and the garden was beautiful!

The place was okay but it was in a dumpy area and I had a hard time finding the entrance, ended up going 5 miles out of my way twice to finally get it (it was after dark). Even leaving the place was difficult.

Basic accomodations, but affordable and clean, and reasonably well maintained for a budget motel. Sometimes the selection of fresh towels seemed kind of random, and they didn’t always replenish all the coffee supplies, so after a few days, we had tons of decaf and no regular coffee. If you have to get to Ithaca, it’s a 40-45 minute drive, but that’s better than other locations during busy times at Cornell like move-in, homecoming, parent weekend, and graduation. Easy free parking and also free parking around Horseheads and much of Elmira. Best local eatery I tried was Louie’s Hanover Square.
