"My quiet loft, just 10 minutes away from UBS Arena and JFK Airport, is ideal for business, vacation, or a layover flight. Situated on the second floor, access involves climbing 10 stairs to the completely private space, for which you'll receive a code the day before arrival.

Equipped with WiFi and Tempur-Pedic beds, the loft has its own AC/Heating Unit. I'm conveniently located 20 minutes from LaGuardia Airport, 5 minutes from Belmont Race Track, 15 minutes from Hofstra University, Nassau Coliseum, Nassau Community College, and 10 minutes from Adelphi and St. John. I'm just 2 minutes away from major highways and NorthWell Franklin Hospital, and also 20 minutes from Long Beach.

For travel to the city, you have three options: the express bus (3 blocks away), the cost-effective choice; Uber/Lyft; or the railroad, all ensuring a 35-minute journey. Security measures include a building-wide security camera and smoke alarms in each room. The kitchenette is equipped with a smoke extinguisher and a first aid kit."

Cute, quiet getaway place
Fiance and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the cute loft. Farida is a great host and had the place stocked with any needed toiletries and had a mini fridge, microwave & oven. The private deck outside is a nice touch as well. We loved the area too, close enough to catch public transportation to the city. We definitely recommend the space for anyone looking for a getaway or business trip. 10/10.

The first few days of my stay were fine. Location is ok, neighborhood is nice. The house is on a busy road. Not too walkable to anything, such as dining, entertainment as the roads are busy and no direct path. Took Uber to LIRR daily to go into the city $10 per trip. There is no lighting on the exterior of the house so if you get back in the evening there is no porch light and makes it hard to see. There’s a situation with the light to the stairwell and if you don’t have the switches on the exact setting it doesn’t work. The first 3 nights I slept fine despite hearing scuffling in the attic space. The 4th night I watched a mouse climb from the wall. I contacted VRBO about the incident and they sent a message to the owner. The owner never responded and due to my long stay in the city that day I was not able to connect with the owner. The next night I was so exhausted from the non-sleep the night before I made it through for an early departure to catch my flight and I sent a message to the owner. The owner was so worried about how much an exterminator would cold she offered no compensation for the last 2 nights and VRBO didn’t seem to care about the situation. I’ve waited a week to hear the results of her extermination inspection and nothing. So don’t expect any response from this owner if you have an issue and she implies the story was made up after admitting she’s had other creatures in her attic in the past and how expensive it is to take care of.

Very nice, quiet place
This was a very nice, clean, quiet home in a safe neighborhood. We walked to breakfast and dinner, and to the laundromat and always felt safe. We went to the LIRR station at UBS Arena and caught the train into Manhattan very easily. Farida was very helpful.
