When we checked in, and my sister went into her room, a whole window pane fell on her, when we reported it to the front desk, they had somebody look at it, and he denied that it happened, but said he fixed the window. When I checked into my room, there were dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom and on the windowsill as well as stains everywhere and a leaky faucet that kept us up all night. The towels hung up in the bathroom were stained and dirty. The shower had pink mold all over the bottom of the shower curtain and inside the tub. The smell in the room was horrendous. Every single time the air conditioner would kick on it would smell really bad like mildew or mold or something. I would never stay here. We ended up leaving early before our booking ended and went and stayed at the La Quinta.

Free breakfast had rotting fruit, tastless coffee and nothing nutritious (maybe cheerios) Tangled up hose in front of my room door , dirty outline of what once may have been a door mat, dead plants all over grounds. Hope the owners are OK?

Even though i checked in at 1:00, i was told that the groundfloor pet room I'd reserved was not available. I agreed to take the "reserve" room, undesirable because it was next to the highway. I didnt mind the traffic noise, but the room wasnt clean and smelled bad, and the floor had bits of trash on it. ,,

Room was ok,not real clean, tv was a mess, had to get the manager down to turn it on was a rough one the whole stay. Breakfast was about a joke, corn flakes or oatmeal, and burnt coffee. Staff was fine and good.

The only problem we had is they say, on Expedia, that there is a laundry but there is NOT! That's the main reason we picked it. If we had known it didn't have one we would have chosen a different place.

The room was old and dark with only one table lamp to light the space. The bed was uncomfortable. However, on a positive note it was very clean.

Check-in staff member was very friendly and helpful which was greatly appreciated after a long day of driving. The bed was comfortable, the hair dryer did not work. As with any older motel the walls are not soundproof and we could hear the upstairs room using the bathroom and walking around in their room. Breakfast included is always appreciated. At this location they were out of orange juice with no sign it was out and the bananas were overripe with black peels. There was coffee and hot tea, two different cereal choices with the milk sitting in the carton at the front desk, granola bars, pastries in bags and bagged muffins. No waffles or anything hot. Again better breakfast than none at all but ranked in the bottom 2 of the 4 motels on our trip. Not much to do in Ely and the casinos with machines only were dead with very few people in the three we visited. We choose this motel after looking at others in the area on hwy 50 that looked run down even though they had high reviews.

Property is basic but very clean. Has microwave in room. Breakfast was ok as an additional add on. Property owner is making an attempt to give the outside a facelift. Very nice property for the money. I will be staying there again.

Room appeared to be clean, other than the shower curtain was in need of a good bleaching. The exterior was unkempt and uninviting. Cigarette butts throughout property. I would have liked to sit outside but tables had clumps of dirt on them The bed pillows were the worst ever. Towels were very small and thin, sheets barely fit the bed The furnishings appeared thrown together-a recliner, really?? Rip in carpet, refrigerator did not work.
