We all had a time everything went smoothly. The only thing we had a problem with was the DVD player, we could not get that to play any movies. We hope to come back really soon!

Cute lakeside cottage on a beautiful piece of rural property. Meticulously clean cottage. Kitchen was well equipped. Living room has an extremely comfortable reclining sofa that looked and felt brand new. Also a comfortable recliner chair. Nice big screen TV. Cabinet full of DVDs. Stereo, board games and puzzles. Comfortable mattress in the master bedroom and trundle bed in the other bedroom that would be ideally suited for children or teenagers. Great outdoor space with grill, fire pit and patio area. Large laundry room and nice 3 season sunroom. Beautiful view of the lake from the dining area. Our host Mitch responded quickly to our questions and went out of his way to ensure that our needs and comfort were met. We highly recommend "Little Lodge" and we look forward to staying again in the future.

The wind kept us from fishing as much as we would have liked but it was still a nice place to just hang out for the weekend. My husband has a bad back and the bed was comfortable for him. This rarely happens when we stay places so that was a big win for us.

Great little cabin. If you're looking for upscale cabin, this is not for you. If you're looking for a perfect little cabin to fish or ride, this is the place to go!! Access to ATV trails nice and close, no trailering just get in sxs and go.

We had the most wonderful stay at this cute cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting and the charm of the property. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and full of character—exactly what we were hoping for in a relaxing getaway.One of the highlights was definitely the fishing. The private access to the water made it easy to spend hours casting a line, and we caught several fish. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and evenings by the fire after a day on the water felt magical.The cabin is well-equipped with everything you need, yet still maintains that authentic “off-the-beaten-path” feeling. We loved the quiet mornings on the porch with coffee, watching the wildlife, and truly disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Our hosts were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning our next trip back.If you’re looking for a place that combines rustic charm, modern comfort, and unbeatable fishing right at your doorstep, this cabin is a gem. Very nice and quiet place, alot of wildlife

Fishing nearby lakes was really good, food in nearby town was outstanding. And plenty of room for three adults. Very nice retreat. I'd do it again.

Great for our Family

The full set of extra amenities in the kitchen were appreciated, we liked the ability to do laundry, and the view was excellent. Mitch was great in communicating with us and making this a stress-free stay. If you want to go to Northern Minnesota, you won't find a better value than the "Little Lodge!"

Up North Slice of Paradise

The Little Lodge is exactly as was pictured. Kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed, and the bed was so comfortable it made sleeping in a breeze. I loved having my morning coffee on the back deck looking out at the lake, enjoying the many different birds. It's a very easy drive from Virginia or Babbit, and getting to Ely is also super easy and quick. I work a high pressure job, and have a hard time relaxing, but this place was wonderful. We used the boat and spent a day in the sun on the lake. Everything was set up to make our stay easy. I definitely plan on coming back. Thank you Mitch!!
