Enjoy beautiful Emerald Isle and take a break from reality at this 4 Bedroom and 2 Bathroom Oceanfront duplex. The bed sizes include: King, Queen, 2 Doubles, and 3 Twins. Linens are provided with beds made. After a fun day with your family on the beach, you can relax on the deck and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. Enjoy your morning coffee or take in the sunset surrounded by your family and friends. This property is perfect for the family that loves the beach and is looking to take advantage of quality time near the coast. There are open and covered decks. The walkway to the beach gives you easy access through the dunes and invites you to spend a fun filled day on the beach! Amenities include: Central air & heat, Dishwasher, Shared washer & dryer, Microwave, 3 cable TVs, High-speed wireless internet. This property rents from Saturday to Saturday. No smoking, no pets.

Great Oceanfront Property

We loved our time here! It's a great location right off of the beach, and it's perfect for a no-frills, roll right down to the ocean trip. These are not dings, but more things that I always like knowing before I head on a trip:You will need to bring any beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. as the house doesn't come with those items.The kitchen was fairly well-stocked with pots, pans, knives, etc. But you will need to bring your own dish soap, hand soap, and then extra trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper as you just get one roll. Above all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Beware, this is not your typical Owner type VRBO property. Too expensive with too few amenities.

We have stayed in several VRBO properties and this was too expensive for the limited amenities. Generally, we are pretty accepting of minor issues, but there were several things about this duplex that would make any future booking or recommendation impossible. There is mold on the downstairs hall ceiling, which makes one wonder about leaks in the upstairs bath. The floor in the hall sags/feels "mushy". There is no drain plug in the downstairs bath, so that is not available to bathe children. Additionally the faucet is old and rusty/dirty. The free standing toilet paper holders are rusty and not attractive. There were inadequate bathroom towel hooks. What would it take to provide even contact hooks? 2 towel rods in the downstairs and one upstairs do not accommodate even 4 folks, let alone the listed capacity. Rods to adjust the mini blinds were missing in the upstairs bedroom. The beds were uncomfortable and need newer mattresses or at least puffy mattress pads. There are only 3 hanging rods with no closets, and no hangers provided. The lower locks on the front door and porch door stick and are in need of replacing. The porch door lock sticks and we almost could not unjam it. Sharing a laundry facility and BBQ is not acceptable, and yes that was mentioned upfront. But not much help if the neighbors use them constantly. The washer and dryer are very old! You might cart off the old broken rockers tossed out on the side of the house, and the broken one underneath the house. Interesting that the duplex next door had 4 new rockers. The lights from the front streetlight and neighbors are super bright at night. I would suggest installing black out curtains. There is inadequate cookware, including things like large pots, a garlic press, better knives, and hot pads. Most places we have stayed at provided beach towels, beach equipment, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and indoor toys or puzzles for kids. Overall, very disappointing compared to what we have rented in the past. And it definitely does not feel like the typical welcoming Owner rental.

Great beach vacation!

Very nice duplex! Excellent location, beachfront...amazing! Actually could sleep more than 8. Nice deck and balcony! The boardwalk was in very dangerous condition, railing undone, landing falling down on one side but 2 men did come and repair it Wednesday. Need to get better chest of drawers, a pain to open the drawers! In the kitchen, the linen providers need to include dish rags and pot holders. There were only 2 kitchen dish towels there but plenty of bath towels, bath cloths! Overall a great place especially close proximity to the ocean! It would also be nice if pets were allowed!
