"Great location for exploring the UP, especially the NE area with Tahquamenon, the Two Hearted and Whitefish Point all within an easy drive. One of the best rustic cabin experiences we have had, only thing missing is running water and we didnt really miss it while we were there. Every other amenity is available to make your trip to the UP awesome and for an unbeatable price. Extremely clean and well equiped for the basics like sleeping, cooking, even the outhouse was clean. The fall colors in the area are rediculous!"

"This property was centrally located to the places we wanted to see in the UP and worked perfectly. Every thing was fairly new, sheets and bed were soft, and the shower had great water pressure! We had planned to cook our own food but we were on the last leg of our trip and learned that grocery stores are few and far between. We were thankful for the tavern across the street which was actually pretty good"

"For the second time in a year, we enjoyed spending time in the cabin and using it as a home base for visiting a beautiful part of the UP. The cabin was very clean and Brian is extremely easy to work with."

"Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Bear Den. The house is beautiful and well stocked with anything you might need as well as there being a gorgeous view of the water. We were pleasantly surprised how calm the water was in front of the beach house compared to Whitefish Point. Even though it was September a few family members did get in the water. Our family loved looking for rocks especially; Yooperlites and Agates on multiple beaches during our stay. The kids loved the upstairs game/play room.We enjoyed visiting Oswald's Bear Ranch and Tahquamenon Falls even in the rain. We look forward to visiting the Upper Peninsula again."

"We had a wonderful stay! This cabin was perfect for our first trip to the U.P to explore all of the sights in the area. It was exactly as advertised and very clean and comfortable. The check-in was very easy. Sandra was particularly helpful in answering all of our questions which made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait for another trip to this area."
