“This was an excellent option as a base to organize some outings to distilleries. We focused on distilleries in Frankfort and Louisville, so Shke yvulle was a great in between stop. The only snafu of the trip was the door code didn't work on arrival, but the owner responded quickly to text to get us in. The house is charming and clean and very quiet outside of the random trains. But if you make use of the ear plugs thoughtfully sprinkled through the bedrooms, the trains aren't much of a problem.……

“This apartment is perfect. Great quiet location, very green surrounding. We enjoyed it, a lot. The only thing i would suggest is that there is not enough space for a woman to place her toiletries in the bathroom. The owner could maybe, put some shelves. “The Tack Hjouse is a charming, rustic, rural (which was so peaceful) one bedroom with a fenced in yard which was perfect for our 2 dogs. It truely is part of a lovely old horse barn.The easy access with no steps and efficient floor plan was perfect for older knees. Our 4 grandsons came out and spent several days and it worked perfectly for them. They hiked, played in the creek (even though it was winter) and gazed at the stars. The large dining table for 6 was just what we needed for playing……
