“We had a lovely stay in this quaint, quiet, and homey cottage. The house was a great size for our party of 5 and the views around the house were unexpected! We got some great pictures from a nearby hill of the mountains in the distance. Tina and Tom were wonderful hosts and so very kind. Tom took the time to ensure we knew how to work the fireplace and washer/dryer. Tom even kept us informed of local happenings and sights in the area! I wish we could have explored more in the immediate area,……

“Loved that we were out in the country, plenty of space in the rooms etc. what would have been helpful was info on electrical outlets, they need to be individually turned on! And some info on what is recycled would have helped. Overall the rustic experience was delightful!”

“This property is truly beyond amazing. The accommodations were extremely comfortable. The amenities that the host provided were perfect for our needs. Eggs bread milk on hand for our first meal. The location just outside Kilmallock (a beautiful historic town) was perfect for day trips to Tipperary, Limerick, Cork and Kerry. We felt very much at home with the wonderful hostess and especially enjoyed the visits from Fizzy, Munchie and Crumbles - the pups!! The views of the lake including swans and……

“Great place to stay in Ireland. Lots of fun. My grandmother was born in Ireland near here. Visited with cousins. First Near Shannon. Then in Tipperary. Went north to visit the Caldwell Castle. My daughter-in-law's name is Caldwell. Snodgrass is a Scotch/Irish name, but my father converted to Catholicism. We went to Giant's Causeway. We had seen it before, but my daughter-in-law wanted to see it. Finished up at Arhelow House. Visited with cousins the night before because my one cousin was leaving……

“The cottage was exactly as described! It was clean, everything was in good working order and the garden was just lovely. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful walks in the forest and quaint little village. Just be aware that the only shop closes at 7 pm.”

“A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.”

“Our family of 5 adults enjoyed this country farmhouse. We had plenty of room to spread out in this comfy home. While the location was rural, it was the perfect way to start our two weeks in Ireland. Walking the country roads we enjoyed the roadside flowers and nature. Historical sites were very close and easy to get to.”
