“We had been staying in Lauterbrunnen, since that’s what came up after many weeks of Google searches about best towns to stay. All of Switzerland is gorgeous so I can’t really complain about one town versus another but wow, were my searches off. Maybe I didn’t know how to research, but Wengen is by far one of the most amazing places we’ve ever been. Die Wohnung war absolut sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen konnte - und noch mehr. “Beautiful location. Very quiet and excellent views. We were not allowed to open windows (no screens to keep mosquitos and insects out) so it would get warm in side. Bathroom shower sprayed all over the wall. However, hand shower worked. But then the water flooded the bathroom floor requiring constant wiping and mopping probably due to a slow drain. We had luggage and little kids. Walking from the bus stop wasn’t too bad until we had to take our luggage up a steep hike of about 10 minutes. It……

“We left this stay very disappointed, with serious safety concerns as a family with children. During our stay, a low window pane at child height broke when accidentally knocked and shattered into large, sharp, jagged pieces. It did not appear to be safety glass and, in my view, posed a real risk of serious injury to a child. This was especially concerning in a family holiday property, which also appeared to lack basic visible safety features despite having a wood burner, including no smoke alarms……
