Also the information we received ahead of time helped us have everything that we needed with us. The location was so close to everywhere that we wanted to visit, so we loved that! “Really cute single cabin. I didn’t realize there was no electricity when I booked. We adjusted fine. Cabin was nicely decorated w a wood burning stove , table w 4 chairs, 2 twin beds pushed together and a desk. There was another shelter that house the propane kitchen stove. The outhouse was real yet had a clean wooden toilet seat. The site was surrounded by trees, a river, fire pit , picnic table and enough space that you could set up a 6 person tent. More comfortable than tent sleeping for……

“The place is darling! Cozy, clean & the most comfortable beds of any place we’ve ever rented. The only reason I gave 4 star is due to the window AC units not working efficiently. Dave & his wife were very fast to respond & even went to get new ones. It was during a heat wave so not their fault at all. Our kids were comfortable upstairs )be careful on the steps!) but the downstairs took all night to cool down below 75 degrees, so sleeping wasn’t the best for us. Great little place! Thanks for……

“Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.”

“Definitely it’s the epitome of your old rustic lakeside cabin! I say that in a good way! Couple of things, The refrigerator door didn’t close all the way, we had to put a box in front of it to hold it closed. Maybe making some of the windows open with screens. Other than those, it was a beautiful, peaceful week!!”
