“Loved the porches and fire pit area. Convenient to everything but very quiet spot. The hosts we're accommodating and the house was very clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay.”

“The place was immaculate and somehow much larger than expected. The sleeping area was huge! Also, the HH features a truly full and full-sized kitchen. Plenty of counter space, oven with a large range top and a full-sized fridge. A great set up for doing your own cooking. A great place to get away and enjoy nature. We had about a dozen deer in the yard each night and saw elk nearby every day of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again.”

“You cannot stay any closer to the Winslow Hill Elk Observation area. Wonderfully comfortable and rustic at the same time. Made good use of the grill. The deer were often in the backyard and morning was filled with bird song. Great getaway opportunity and easy to set up.”

“Proximity to PA Grand Canyon allowed a hike, food at Wellsboro, church & food at Coudersport. Enjoyed the Cottage very much for family meals, games, hot dogs at the fire, cozy bedrooms, Northern Lights in place of stars on the rainy nights. Host had little things that made a difference. Loved it!”

“The tree house was unique and was great for a few days stay. Though it would have been helpful to know ahead of time in the on-line description that the water in not potable. The owners collect rainwater so it's not intended for consumption. Next, communication with the property manager through Vrbo email was a bit difficult...when I initially reserved the property I checked off how many children and their ages. This manager reached out a couple days prior saying the tree house is not……

“Very rustic and authentic log cabin in a beautiful + secluded location. This is a great spot to just relax and commune with nature and saw plenty of wildlife right on premise. Chris was a most gracious host and went out of his way to make our experience a wonderful one, this is a great place to spend some quality time with family & friends. PS - the stars at night are magical!”

“This place was beautiful, incredibly welcoming, comfortable, spacious, and brilliantly decorated. The hosts responded to the few questions I had quickly. The highlight of the trip, the night sky, was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin itself is an experience too! The notes left behind in journals by other visitors to the cabin were beautiful to read. Truth be told it was an absolute perfect retreat for my friends to get away from the city and into nature. Without a doubt I'll be coming here in……

“My wife and I planned to fish,hike and spend time together with our black lab in the area. The property was in a great location with a nice hot tub to enjoy after all the sightseeing for Elk. No sightings but great views from the deck area for deer and stargazing”

“Camper was clean and the hosts provided a unique experience. Fishing stream is an easy walk from the camper. Reason for the 3 in the communication section was it would have been helpful to have a contact number for the hosts. Our GPS put us a quarter mile away and we had some difficulty finding the camper.”
