Spectacular views!
This house was absolutely stunning. We stayed with family for a week and the house accommodated 6 adults perfectly. The wood fire was just what we needed with some cold nights during our stay and the view from the back deck was spectacular - we even saw some dolphins out in the bay!
The location was great, just 20 minutes from the main town of Kingscote which had everything we needed - Drakes IGA, cafes, restaurants and the obligatory souvenir shops - plus lots of local artisans nearby (don't miss the Lavender Farm and cafe!).
The only negative was the "pre departure checklist" we received from the Real Estate Host the day before leaving which included straightening beds (surely the beds would be made with fresh linen, no?) and ensuring the dishwasher was emptied prior to departure. We were more than happy to leave the property in the same condition we found it but at a cost of close to $6K, I would expect some of that would cover the cost of a cleaner who could empty a dishwasher.
