The staff were very friendly. The facilities were well-maintained and tidied up by guests and the staff there. Very new and clean. Spacious common area in which you can cook and have meals comfortably. So far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Switzerland. The downside for somebody may be the self-check in system, which is easy for me but not for everybody.

We had a wonderful stay at the GRAND. The location was wonderful. The amenities were great, the complete kitchen set up was very useful. The staff were very friendly and helpful! We highly recommend the GRAND! We will be back.

I stayed here with my 19 year old son for five nights. We loved the kitchen concept and the patios. We loved the proximity to the train station, grocery store, and abundance of hiking trails.

Wat een super leuk hotel/hostel.prachtige locatie en super mooi hotel.leuk concept van hostel en hotel.wij hadden een kamer op de bovenverdieping met eigen douche en toilet.beneden een gemeenschappelijke keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien.echt een aanrader.ligt is bijna naast het treinstation en alle voorzieningen zijn op loopafstand.
De kabelbaan naar titlis is ook echt een must.komen hier graag nog een keer.

This is a beautiful place to stay!!! There is a very nice setup of a community kitchen. The app to check in is a little difficult for the older generation but the person on staff was VERY helpful in the process. Do this ahead of time if you can and make sure your bluetooth is on when downloading the app for checkin. Very family friendly and cute town in off season and I am sure in the ski season it is packed with people, beautiful area.

Best hostel we stayed in!
The property overall was very clean including kitchen and common areas. Kitchen equipment is amazing, there are couple of ovens, microwave, pans etc. Each room has a dedicated, lockable fridge.
The room is quite small but has everything needed! Nice and clean bathroom with shower gel, cotton pads and hairdryer.
A self check in option is great, we could arrive whenever it suited us and the mobile app is well thought and has all information needed. Also it’s easy to contact the staff in case of any questions or help needed.
And the view was amazing!

The place exceeded my expectations!
Super helpful stuff, clean room and amenities. The shared kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more to make your own meals.
The hotel is literally across the street from the train station. The bus stop is just around the corner. If you travel by car, there is free parking on premises ( first come first served basis). But there is paid street parking next to it as well. The hotel app gives you 10% discount for Titlis mountain. Supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, restaurants- everything you need is right there.

What a great experience at GRAND! My family and I have never stayed at shared place before, and I am blown away at how great this place accommodated us. It's in a perfect location to explore the mountains, was beautifully decorated / clean, and the technology to access everything made it so easy to get in and out.
Thanks for a wonder stay. If I'm ever back in Engelberg (and I plan on it), I'll be staying at the GRAND!

The Grand was excellent. My family loved staying here. The cleanliness was above high standards and the helpfulness of the staff was beyond expectations. Having the shared kitchen areas was wonderful. We were able to have a place to relax and eat our own food and we were able to meet many wonderful people. I would stay here again!

We loved staying here. Easy check in and out. The kitchen was superb and the bar was a great place to be. The bar man was so friendly and chatty.
The room was spacious and clean and even had a balcony. Great water pressure for the shower and very comfy beds.
The location near the station was superb.
Would definitely stay here again.

Room are large, clean and with good furniture.
