The rain even made it more enjoyable, sitting on the deck and listening to the wildlife and rain. If it wasnt so far away I would bring our whole family here, for the best getaway ever. “Great clean cabin in a nice quiet setting. Close to the lake ramps. Only downside was no wifi but were only there one night so it wasn’t an issue.”

“My friends and I planned about a year in advance to stay within the path of totality and finding this cabin was a godsend. Not only was the house fantastic, but the view was absolutely stunning. For the eclipse, we lucked out and got great weather to take in the once in a lifetime event with total privacy. And at night, the sky that was viewable was perfect for stargazing, with or without a telescope. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re wanting to find some private peace of mind and……

“We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a cute little cabin and every detail seemed very well thought out. And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. Thank you!”

“GREAT SETTING”

“We have been coming to this area since late eighties. Rented and stayed at different places from campgrounds to houseboats to cabins I have to say this is the best most comfortable and easily accessible place we have stayed in. The view, pond, cleanliness, ammenities, are the best. Absolutely loved the train waved enough at the conductor he started waving. Lol u can’t go wrong here”

“Property was perfect. Great woodsy location just a few miles from French Lick. The property was clean and well stocked. The host has an arrangement of activities at the property from yard darts and ping pong tables to family games and a fire pit. We had a wonderful time.”

“This cabin was exactly what we needed. We came to the area for archery championships, but wanted something to get away and detach from the world. This cabin doesn’t have the best reception but other than that was amazing! The kitchen is small, but was perfect cause that means I didn’t have to be in the kitchen helping! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway! This is the place! 5 stars, would recommend!”

“We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!”
