“We had a wonderful time at Galleon Resort. Everything was excellent, friendly staff, our beach cottage was clean and the bed was so comfortable, The kitchen was a added plus, we got supplies to cook breakfast everyday at the local supermarket just a short taxi drive away. The beach was so perfect right outside the cottage with breathtaking views! We also couldn’t have asked for better weather this time of year aswell! We can’t wait to come back!!! Highly recommend.”

“The rooms are clean and spacious, with effective air con, and other helpful amenities. The pool is ideal and there is optional shade for sun lounges. The staff are polite and Collette was so helpful and did everything to ensure our stay was comfortable.”

“Good stay”

“A bif difficult to get our room clean. We requested 2 cleanings for the week but they did not come the second time. I let housekeeping know she aaid we were not on the schedule. We were able to pick up towels. This was the only issue and the view sure made up for it.”

“A Peaceful Little Gem in Cades Bay South Coast Horizons is the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate where you are. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff made such a difference, especially Charmaine at reception, who was kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The grounds are beautiful and thoughtfully cared for, with so much to discover — the lovely landscaping, the art garden, the environmental……

“Excellent check in process, nice property, very clean, great AC in the bedroom. Very quiet and secluded, really reminded me of a cottage. Not much around that you can walk to but overall it was a really nice spot with excellent hosts.”

“The room was very clean, the hostess was very nice and fair. She is quite pleasant with a calm demeanor.”

“It was our third time staying at Dickinson bay cottages. We love the proximity to the beach. This time we were in a 1 bedroom. The room was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We like the updated washroom, but the towel bar needed to be affixed more securely, possiblyina better location.”

“Spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location, close to the beach and amenities.”

“ Tucked away from the crowds yet perfectly positioned to enjoy everything the island has to offer, this six-cottage retreat is nothing short of a hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, the pace slows, the noise fades, and you’re invited to settle into true island time. Each cottage is thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, carefree stay—blending charm, privacy, and all the modern conveniences without sacrificing its intimate, laid-back character. “This location is 12 minutes away from the town of St.Johns and less than 10 minutes away from the airport. Very close to Dickerson Bay which is one of the nicest beaches on that side of the island. Property is well secured with cameras and motion lights. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Denyse the host is onsite so any issues can be addressed immediately. She is very accommodating and professional. An excellent choice for a home away from home atmosphere”

“It is not close to any shops or bus stations. The water pressure in the shower is very low and you have to turn on the kitchen then the bathroom sink then the shower to get hot water. Its great for a short stay not a long one. ”
