"Ojo Azul Resort was an excellent experience. The property is clean, open, and very peaceful—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The spa was a highlight, with a very friendly staff and great service. The room and bathroom were spotless and well maintained. Overall, a quiet, comfortable stay that I would definitely recommend."

"The room had an incredible mountain view and was plenty large. Staff were all very friendly, and when we needed something, they were quick to help. The pool was not heated, which was perfect in the heat. 3 Jacuzzis which must be reserved an hour in advance to preserve energy. The bathroom was nice overall, however, waterflow on the toilet was low, and the shower head was attached to a pipe to make a quasi rainfall head. It's a bummer because the shower enclosure itself os large and well finished. Restaurant on property was good with great service from Armando. The winery next door is superb with wonderful views as well. One bizarre thing. To check in, no one was at the desk and we needed to whatsapp staff that we arrived. That was a consistent theme, using whatsapp bc no one was there most of the time. But staff responses fast on whatsapp and gets to the desk or your room in a hurry. 100% would stay again!"

"La ubicacion es muy buena para turistas. Cerca del malecon y mercado negro de mariscos. Todo el personal fue sorprendentemente amable, recepcion, limpieza, restaurante, todos super bien y saludaban con una sonrisa. El cuarto muy agradable, tambien el area de alberca. Olia un poco como a viejo o humedad el pasillo, pero estan haciendo updates. Definitivamente regresaria a este hotel. "

"We arrived at 6pm,Restaurant,bar and spa were all closed due to holiday . Staff had no info as to where we might go for dinner or what might be open, we just walked until we found an area with a couple of places to eat. In the morning staff could not tell us how to get to the highway toward our next destination. I would suggest management have staff more informed on general questions especially when your amenities are closed. As first time visitors to your city we need a little help."

"Very beautiful hotel, highly recommend. The walks to/from the room to the main area were about 7 mins, with breathtaking views, do recommend to bring comfortable shoes. Property has many amenities, take advantage of these! "
