“Darryl’s place in Portsmouth is lovely. Two of us stayed there, one in the bedroom and the other on the futon, both very comfortable; and, with two bathrooms it was pretty luxurious compared to having to share one hotel room as an alternative. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped and so easy to walk out the front door to roam around Portsmouth on foot. Plus, his place offers not only a great place to sleep and get to know the town but also is very welcoming when you return and just want to……

“Well designed and maintained property. We enjoyed the little touches like the automatic nightlights and heater in bathroom. Wish we could have spent more time here but we attended the Deerfield fair. Highly recommended. ”

“This is an authentic cottage with all the amenities you might need for a great weekend stay near Plum Island. The host was responsive and timely in messaging and made us feel welcome. All the necessary items were there and we really liked the cozy beach vibe and skylights that made the main area bright. E would definitely love to return and stay longer. ”

“It was a perfect location , clean and nice little kitchen . Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like smelly armpits, the closet had only one hanger , there wasn’t a can opener or dish rack and there was only one dish towel . ”

“Pros: The views of the lake are beautiful - especially during the fall when the trees are turning. Check in was easy (but had to call to get the instructions). The house is equipped with Roku tv and the bathroom has a heater. Cons: Zero response from the owner despite multiple direct messages through VRBO. Had to call customer service to get check in instructions - never got any for check out. Other: I’m glad I read prior reviews and knew the property was right next to neighbors and at the end……
