“Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be……

“My wife and I along with and her siter spent a few days at this quiet home on Kentucky Lake. The westerly view of the lake from the screened in porch makes for some great sunsets. The house was super clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils. Check-in and check-out were easy. Not that we needed anything, but Elroy was available if anything came up.It's a bit remote, so we found ourselves taking day trips into LBL and the surrounding area and coming back late afternoon……

“What a fantastic 26 year anniversary trip. The lake house was absolutely lovely and so close to the lake and boat ramp. We didn't want for anything the whole trip. The hosts are so sweet leaving us an anniversary card and fresh baked bread. Check in and out was super easy and the entire experience was peaceful and relaxing which was exactly what we were looking for. We're already discussing coming back next year!
